Germany is a country of immigration. And it has to be. Due to the demographic development of our population, we depend on immigration from other countries. At the same time, there are many people who want to come to Europe and to Germany to work as employees, professionals or as self-employed individuals; young people want to come here to study or train. Furthermore, Germany protects people fleeing from war and persecution.
